UNDERSTANDING ZAKAT
ZAKAT a language means to grow (numuww), blessing and grow (ziyadah), purify or cleanse (thaharah). While Shari'ah terminology, charity is an activity that is required by Allah to give some wealth in the number and specific calculations to be given to those who deserve it. Zakat is the third pillar of the pillars of Islam.
